Apologies, dear reader, that most nefarious and diabolical device upon which we all so desperately rely upon for thousands upon thousands of daily tasks and functions – namely my PC – became quickly ill and then ultimately unresponsive. Not a fatal crash, but a highly inconvenient one for me requiring me to reinstall Windows. I did not lose any of my files; spreadsheets, documents, and photos all intact. But I lost all programs not native to the PC. That meant iTunes. Steam (a gaming system), and others. But the most painful of all was MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. I sorely needed both Word and Excel daily and they were atop my list. I still need to do music (iTunes) as well as reestablish the pairing with my iPhone for automatic Bluetooth backup and photo downloads. But I do now have Word back and can provide this brief update. I promise more to come once I am back to health with my PC.
